You need to see a different doctor or an Ear, Nose & Throat Doc, (also known as an ENT). Til then, if you choose to use the peroxide you only gargle with it. Don't swallow it.

Hydrogen peroxide is really not the best thing to gargle. It has no antibacterial properties. In fact, it can lengthen the time necessary for tissue to heal. Most medical facilities rinse away hydrogen peroxide with sterile saline or sterile water immediately after use. A good mouthwash or lukewarm salty water will probably be more effective. The vast majority of sore throats are due to either allergy with post nasal drainage or viral infection. In fact, there are many strep throat infections that have no redness, no soreness, and no fever. If you are worried about sexually transmitted diseases....get tested.

You can gargle with peroxide diluted with water, but you should seek a second opinion. Go see another doctor or try the nearest emergency room. Six months is way too long to have an infection like that. Good Luck!

Find some good antimicrobial mouthwash (Listerene) and some water and the peroxide, mix together in equal parts, and gargle 4 times a day.
If you are concerned that you may a an STD, you need to go to your doctor or a planned parenthood to get yourself tested.

It's time for you to get the basic STD tests at your doctors, since you've been worrying about this so long. (I checked your other questions) So get those tests and then you can rule out some of the things you're worried about.

You should probably get a throat culture and a test for mono also.

just put some in your mouth and gargle with it.also try taking folic acid 2 800mcg tablets a day that should clear it up pretty quick.
