A long time ago, maybe about 14 years ago, I use to steal from the poor box at church. In fact, there was one day when I actually stole the entire poor box from the church. I typically got about 100$ each time and usually wasted this money on hamburgers and cd's, none of which I have any more.

Will I go to hell for this? I understand that God doesn't really take pity on fools....or thieves for that matter.

I agree with Nolean S on this one. Three pizza puffs and a glass full of pink bizz will clense you of your sins for sure, good work! But in addition to that, if you ever have this urge again at any point in your life, you must eat 5 butterfruits and then dunk your thieving hands in mustard for an hour (Jesus prefers Plochman's). This will cure you of your thieving thoughts once and for all.

You have already entered hell by the guilt your earlier action caused. Now you have uploaded your burden, it's no longer a secret (the act, not your identity) and that is a form a release and escape from your self imposed hell. Perhaps your further release could be obtained by making good to some charity that will really go to help those in need instead of keeping some televangelist on TV or build some airplane hanger that built for the glory of man instead of the particular god that was intended to be worshiped.

There is no heaven, no hell, only here and now. Make this time count, make a difference in the world in which you live.

YES.... You are....

......BUT... Not for Stealing from A Church Box!

YOUR.... "Intent To Defraud".... By asking About GOD...

..... taking pity on Fools... is Part And Parcel....

..... of YOUR Treachery TOWARDS....." GOD ! "

IT is not Hell... BUT.... the Lake of FIRE.... that YOU... need to be concerned.... About !

(John 3:19-20) And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.

(John 3:20) For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

Thanks for NOT Asking ! RR

P.S. IF you are Truly Concerned.... Read the verses that come before these.... 'posted ones'.....in John chapter 3 !

God's really good about fools and thieves. He's heard every story in the book, so if you are sorry, He's OK with it. Ask him about it. You might have to do a bit of hamburger and CD buying for other people.

It is not for me to judge but I would say that you are in deep trouble. The bible says to make yourself right before the Lord thy God and He has rules . You can be forgiven but you owe God big time. The word of God says this: If any man is caught stealing he must pay back ten fold. That means you owe 10 times as much as you stole from the Lord and interest is being compounded daily my friend. If you want to get right with the maker you better make restitution.

Eternal life is like a marriage contract with YHVH. Take His name, follow His rules, you become His "bride" and He will save you. If you refuse, and stay in your sins, you will end up in the lake of fire which purifies the earth (destroying sin and sinners) so Messiah can make all things new, and very good. (There is no place of perpetual torment)

Maybe just maybe, you could save some money and then revisit some of those old places you used to visit.

Repent and make make it right :)
