It's not what "some people say" It's what the Bible says. Marriage is an institution CREATED BY GOD, between ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN. That is what a Human marriage should be.
As far as nuns go, I don't know what they believe. But, I do know that when Jesus returns, He will take His BRIDE or Church with Him. His Bride (or Church) are all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Church isn't referring to a denomination or a building, but the BODY OF BELIEVERS. That will be the MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB AND HIS BRIDE, THE CHURCH. And this refers to a spiritual marriage.

And the Church is married to Him in Revelation.

The question comes down to your understanding of marriage and whether or not you are referring to the earthly marriage of individuals or not. Clearly, the Bible only advocates a single man and a single woman are to be married and that it is until the physical death of either spouse.

Hope that helps.

Some people don't know that marriage doesn't belong to the Christian faith and that the institution has evolved drastically over time.

So I'm assuming that some people also don't know about the figurative marriage between nuns and Yahweh.

physical marriage in these earthly bodies is between a man and a woman and sanctified by God within the marriage vows. God created the institution of marriage for the purpose of the procreation of mankind. It is an honorable institution in the eyes of God and it should be until death do we part.
It is a sad state of affairs how far mankind has fallen away from the biblical teachings about marriage.

Absolutely, we are the bride of Christ and will be at the marriage supper of the lamb. That is the Christ nature, we are God's children. Nun's are not the married to God, only Christ, as Christian's.

According to the right-wing amendment, it would be a sin to be married to a supernatural being, and also illegal. Its also harder to get a divorce from God, they just never pay alimony on time!
