Like you know, the Holy Ghost is the spirit of God. That is why God has been hanging with Him, or rather why He has been hanging with God. He speaks to us through the Holy Spirit by the means of our conscience and thoughts. This is the part of God we ask into our hearts and minds when we receive salvation. I feel that God is against same sex marriage because the basis of the relationship is mostly all about what sort of sex turns someone on. I mean, think about it. What do you constantly hear? "I'm attracted to men." or "I'm attracted to women." It is the attraction that seems to be the kicker in those situations. I don't have the authority to say whether these people are doing wrong or not. I won't even go there. I know I have things in my life that are wrong, so who am I to say anything like that! But I will say that God created man and woman and told them to replenish the earth by making families, bringing children into the world. The unions usually end up as marriages. It is obvious that two men or two women cannot make babies together. It is humanly impossible! So I can safely assume that God had in mind for different sexes to marry in order to fulfill His order in this case. I think that sums up the reason behind the rejection of same sex marriages to the Christian, politician or not. The facts are still the same ones for whomever is making the decision on that issue. Without writing a book here and now, I feel I should end with that comment. Want to know more about how I feel? Send me a reasonable email and I will answer it with what I think. Don't want to know more? Fine, then I have said enough already. Peace on earth, my friend!

Depending on what translation of the Bible you read the Hebrew word ru'ach (Greek pneu'mata I believe) has been interpreted as "ghost" but really is spirit.
The interpretation into "ghost" infers a separate thinking entity when in fact it is spirit or an active force.
Check out the New World Translation of the Bible where the word "ghost" is not used for ru'ach.
I mean think about it.Jah gave us all free will.

When we read Acts 2:4 about the holy spirit filling the participants there, if you interpret the word as ghost that would mean the people were possessed by a ghost. And holy or not that's not the way Jah operates!
The Holy Spirit is a helping force, not a separate personage.

God probably isn't. I don't know why it says that in the Bible, but there are more passages saying how wine and alcohol are evil than there are passages on homosexuality.

The Holy Ghost is not a guy or a lady. It's a manifestation of the bond between God and humanity.

Also, you can marry peanut butter and jelly. And the bread is the minister. ^_^

Elohim means Lord. Not holy spirit.

Actually, the Hebrew for holy spirit is "Elohim" which actually is a feminine form of the word. Put that in your pipe eh?

........Same-sex "marriage" is never a marriage. Marriage is a "union between a man and a woman". Proclaiming that "man can marry another man" is not only ridiculous but also blasphemous. Once again, someone with lack of understanding on the subject.
