It does not. Forget what she said!! I know it does not show up, me and several of my friends have asked doctors many times, and also passed drug test on it. It is an anti agonist. It is a different type of opiate. Rn does not know her stuff on this issue.

it IS an opiate, so yes, it will show up in a urine test as such.

Suboxone (Buprenorphine) is an opioid drug with partial agonist and antagonist actions. Buprenorphine hydrochloride was first marketed in the 1980s by Reckitt & Colman (now Reckitt Benckiser) as an analgesic, yet is now primarily used for the treatment of opioid addiction. It is a Schedule III drug under the Convention on Psychotropic Substances. Buprenorphine is an opioid medication. Buprenorphine is similar to other opioids such as morphine, codeine, and heroin however, it produces less euphoric ("high") effects and therefore may be easier to stop taking. Buprenorphine and naloxone can cause death from overdose, especially if it is injected with a tranquilizer. Use buprenorphine and naloxone exactly as directed by your doctor.

SUBOXONE tablets should be placed under the tongue until they are dissolved.

No, it absolutely will NOT show up. i just completed 12 months of therapy with it, was urine tested monthly and it never showed, plus the doctor told us all not to worry for job applications, etc. Go to NAABT.org if you don't believe me.
Obviously you're not getting your sub from a doctor...big mistake. I tried that too, but without the counceling it's a waste of time. Good luck!

It depends on the kind of test that they do. It WILL show up in urine, but I don't believe that it is specifically tested for in basic, preliminary tests, generally speaking. It can be tested for, but due to costs, it usually isn't.
