Yes. The valet fee is for the service itself; that money goes to the company providing the valets. Your tip is for the worker to park/retrieve your car. I also tip at parking garages when they get my car for me. I usually tip $2, BTW.

If going to a place where there is valet parking there is an ettiquite. Straight up yes you tip say $5.00 over the charge as doubling is fine.
But if you are at a nice place or a club obviously you are going to spend some money inside so you plan on the valet tip especially on a date. Give whatever attendant $20.00 at the get go. Your car will come way faster when you leave. Then tip the extra $5.00 later. It is better than tipping big when leaving.

confident, that's universal to tip a valet. isn't there everywhere else you need to park and then walk to the physician's place of work so which you do not have a parking value? additionally, why does not the physician validate for parking so as that there is not any can charge for the time?

I suppose that if can afford to go somewhere that has valet parking, you may as well go the whole nine yards and through your last fiver in there hands. After vehicle inspection of coarse. They are supposed to park it and retrieve it without scratching it.

Yes. The tip would be 15% OF $5 OR 75 cents. Since handing someone coins would make you look cheap, just hand them a dollar

It is customary to tip, but only if your car is brought in good time, and they haven't messed with the radio.
