I'm 15, female, 5"7 and I want to be either 5"9 or 5"10. I heard on a good website that it is esential that you get a certain amount of sleep to increase your growth by a half an inch or a full inch, but they wouldn't say how much sleep you needed because they wanted me to buy their book.

If there's anything you can suggest I would be very greatful.

If you're 5'7", that's plenty tall enough. If you were 5'10" tall, your height would be slightly above the average for men, and I don't think that's the effect you're aiming for.

That said, you're 15. You're probably done growing, unless perhaps you just reached puberty this year or something like that. (Guys that age may keep growing for a while . . . they reach puberty later.) If not, you may grow slightly, like a fraction of an inch, but it's unlikely to be noticeable. You're plenty tall enough already, so it doesn't matter either.

Beware of people selling books about things like getting taller. They've got one goal in mind: to get you to waste your hard-earned money on their product. The more lofty the goal, the less likely it is that any book will help you achieve it. You probably never find a book that will make you taller or make you rich, but you will find lots of people who have gotten rich by selling such books.

Good luck!

don't believe everything you read online, that being said, let me tell you, your height is genetically predetermined, there is not a blessed thing you can do to increase or decrease your height. The good news is, you are only 15, you still have at least four more years of growing left, you might attain that height naturally.
