It is a clear tape that is sticky on one side, it comes in rolls. It can be bought in a stationary shop, or newsagents and comes in small or large rolls. You can get it with a dispenser if you wish, this is probably the best way as if you loose the end it is difficult to find it again.

It´s spelled cellotape, and it´s shortened from the word cellophane, which is a clear, thin plastic-like film. When sticky substance is applied to one side, it becomes transparent tape.
