hey i keep having this same dream and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what it means. well it starts of with me moving next to my ex's house tj. i am reading a book then i see this thing that he wrote that says how we met,how it went, and how we broke up. then i go over to his house to show him the book. we talk then we go inside and watch tv. then he scoots closer to me, and puts his arm around me. i scoot away and say no i cant do this i have a boy friend and you have a girl friend. he says but dont you see were getting back together. then my mom comes and gets mad at me for being late for dinner.
i hope someone can tell me what it means cause i have had it atleast 4 times in a row

You definitely still are connecterd emotionally to your ex. Going over in the dream about how the relationship went from beginning to end in the form of a book. Maybe your ex does still have feelings for you, and you are picking that up psychicly. You may not be completely over him, also. But in this reality if the dream is right you already have both moved on beyond the relationship, and it is not practical to get together. Your mom may be the voice of reason telling you to snap out of it and come to dinner. It is hard to get over past relationships, and most likely this relationship is past,. unless something changes that allows you to get past the obstacles. Meditation/prayer, talking through the emotions with friends, and trying to channel you energy more into your current relationship if you have one, or committing your energy deeply into something else of importance in your life may help. Counseling could be beneficial if you have such strong emotions that you have trouble clearing them out on your own.
