Right I'm completely clueless, a friend to download a movie that she had downloaded and made sure it was the same as what she had downloaded...
But when if finished it was a RAR file!
Anyone got any clues on how i can watch the film or should i just give up?

you need winrar to unzip it..
download a free trial of it.. extract the video inside the rar file..
and then enjoy watching your movie..

1)Basically your RAR file will be split up into sections and they should be in sequence so if not make them like you do for anything else, but in ascending order (you just right click and sort by name). 2)Download an extracting software like winrar ( I would recommend) 3)Right click the first RAR file and extract it to a separate folder location. 4)After your files have extracted they should be at your destination. And do what you like with the files from there.

A rar file is similar to a zip file you need a program called winrar to unpack it Ps: most dvd movies that are packed into rar files.they are normally 47.6 mb each and usually 80-95 rar files per movie.

Mate it is just like a zip file. RAR files can be extracted usign WinRAR. Here is the link to download it.

You will need a file archiver.It will convert the RAR file into the video file.
-if your using a PC(windows XP,Vista) use Winrar- http://www.win-rar.com

you'll need to download winrar. probably from www.download.com and then once installed you'll need to right click the file and select extract here. give it a few moments and then you should be away.
