I really like Royal Caribbean. They have tons of great off-ship activities to choose from, the food is spectacular, and I happen to enjoy the sit-down and formal dining. (No other time do I dress up for dinner, lets be honest) I think it's a great cruise for people 25-50
Carnival is ok, but I like a more traditional cruise experience. Princess is for OLD people.

So far, I have been on three cruises. One was Costa, one Princess, and one Carnival. My favourite cruiseline was Princess, with Costa being a close second. I thought that Princess had the best food, dining room service, pools, and entertainment. The beauty of the ship itself was comparable on Costa and Princess. Both had glass elevators in their atrium and beautiful decor. Costa did a bit of a better job than Princess at keeping the teens on the ship occupied. Another thing better on Costa was that the photos they take of you on the ship were cheaper to purchase than they were on Princess. Carnival was good too, but the service and food was not quite as good, plus we were on an older ship. Anyway, the vote for my favourite was Princess.

My favorite is royal caribbean. I have cruised with them as well as carnival and found them to be superior in quality. The service on royal caribbean is excellent and the staff really seem to care about their work. Also they are friendly, we would see staff at the ports and they would come up and speak to us. The ships are well maintained and the food is excellent. Also I love the fact that no matter what time of day or night you can always find something to do. They just have so many activities, they don't allow boredom. The shows are good too as well as the ports of call.

I have only been on 2 Carnival cruises and I enjoyed them immensely. The only reason I chose Carnival though is because I could drive to the port of call, however if I had a chance I would chose Royal Caribbean, I have heard nothing but good about them.

My favourite cruise-line is Princess. We have sailed with them twice. We have sailed with RCCL, NCL, Thomson, Ocean Village, Island Escape and a gullet cruise in the Maldives as well, but prefer Princess for the better itineraries, really good service, great food and entertainment. Our next cruise is with Celebrity in June, so perhaps our favourite cruise-line will change then

I do not believe there is awrong answer. Each Cruise Line has alittle something different to offer. And of course we all like different things. Whats good for one may not be for another.
If they get you where you want to go, food is good, services is good and the ship does hit anything or sink then it was a good cruise. Have been on 22.

We paid extra to go with royal Caribbean to Alaska. This was a mistake, the food was awful. The ship was the Vision of the Sea. One would think being in the northwest you would see some great seafood, WRONG. We had had good experiences with Royal Caribbean before, we will not be going back.
We went on 6 cruises in 2007 on different cruise lines, most were outstanding. I thing R/C is resting on their good name and cutting corners.
We have never been on a bad Princess cruise, and they always have great entertainment.
