I don't think it is enough. I heard a story from a friend who used to be a Mormon, and whose parents still are. After her divorce from a non-Mormon, they tried to fix her up with a Mormon. Of course, there was little besides hand-holding and a few "stolen" kisses. They were never left alone. She went ahead and married him, and on her honeymoon, when she came into the hotel room dressed in her sweetest filmy nightgown, he told her he was impotent!

She got an annulment at once, of course.

It's waaaaaaaay to tempting ( for me) because hand holding results in an exchange of sexual energy through the palms and the fingers, which then leads to hugging & kissing. Furthermore I really despise holding hands with my fiance simply because our Marriage to one another is not promised or gauranteed.

And thats how I preserve my Chastity and guard my modesty.Amen :)

I see absolutely nothing wrong with holding hands with someone. I shake hands freely with everyone. We are told to give a holy kiss to our brothers and sisters IN Him. Do you think we can give a kiss on the cheek and not be able to hold hands?????

BTW ... I hope you were asking in jest. If not, man, I feel sorry for you.

Dan-ge-rous! It's just like smoking pot can lead you to harder drugs, pre-marital hand holding can lead you to, I don't know, french kissing, for example. If I were you I'd save myself for marriage.

If she wouldn't want to hold my hand then I definitely wouldn't be worrying about marriage!
