Jeginis are illegal in India. Even your own country doesn't understand your ''different way of things'' so shut up please.

Selling girls and requiring them to be prostitutes will never be tolerated by ANY sane person.

in step with Tattoed.Faery's question, what's makes it no longer trouble-free to attain liberation is our very own doubt and laziness. no longer attacking, purely being trouble-free. as quickly as we persist with non-end attempt to the trainings, it works and issues exchange for us, yet we can by no skill comprehend this till we do it, and do it constantly and actually sufficient for it to happen. the reason some westerners arise with unusual suggestions including denying Buddhas teachings is they have the desire to make up a path that feels comfortable to them. that's wonderful, it extremely is the place they're at on their adventure, despite the fact that it won't convey approximately the outstanding outcomes interior this existence that Buddha defined. all and sundry is on a non secular adventure and desires numerous issues. despite the fact that, it is disrespecful whilst a number of those human beings criticise Buddhas teachings or say some issues are fake or no longer important, then call their very own path "Buddhism". there is easily lineage teachings that are recognized as BuddhaDharma. Buddha taught many popular truths, yet to take what we predict of is important and alter into severe of something of it and call our suggestions Buddhist or "Western Buddhism" isn't appropriate, and we would desire to continually be careful to no longer enable such grievance impact us.

Because it's wrong? The ancient levels of life expectancy have gone away. What was appropriate for a pre-pubescent child is no longer appropriate. Advancement of medicine has changed life, therefore religion must redefine its precepts. Why won't you advance the concept that children must be children and not prostitutes?

When I read about things like this, I thank my God that He gave me the gift of being born in a country like the United States.
Not that my country is perfect...not by a long shot. Nor am I all that much of a "patriot".
But stuff like this does make me appreciate what I do have.

Don't know if you are expecting a rational answer or something to justify your thoughts and actions, but the reason is because of ignorance on both sides, along with selfishly using your beliefs to repress and condemn others. All of this along with a healthy does of disrespect.

Do you not see the evil in using a young woman for the pleasure of dirty old men? And you call this a religion. It is a religion straight from Satan's hell.

May the Lord rebuke you!

Because children are children and NO religion is ever pure and holy which allows the sexual abuses of a child on planet EARTH ....PERIOD

This is just an excuse by vain men to perpetrate a crime upon a child by calling it a RELIGION.

Maybe we understand we just don't approve or agree, seems the girl in the article didn't much appreciate being a 'religious prostitute' so it's not something I can accept.

please do not judge all westerners in the same way, i am white and british but i made a very conscieous decision to be aware of all cultures and religions and i teach my 2 year old daughter about them as i believe that the most important thing you can pass on to a child is knowledge. I agree that a lot of westeners are arrogant and narrow minded, but not all of us!

This subject isn't about westerners vs. easterners. What I read is a crime against the human spirit and it's just wrong.
