A person who believes in god and prays... Not sure what you are looking for here. There are no rules when it comes to personal beliefs. This person is obviously comfortable with their place in life. You don't have to go to church to pray.

You can't tell what is in the heart of another person. A person who believes in God is either a deist or a theist. A deist believes in an impersonal God who stands aloof from his creation while a theist believes in a personal God who is actively at work in what goes on in his creation.

Lots of people pray. Hindus, Muslims, and Christians all pray. People who don't associate themselves with any particular religion but who believe that there is a God pray.

Someone who claims to be a Christian but who doesn't go to church may have fallen away from the faith, may have never truly been of the faith, or they may just be going through a season in their life where perhaps they have become disillusioned or hurt because they went to a church where the people were not very "Christ like".

i do no longer think of all of us truly is wide-unfold with how that Heaven-Purgatory-Hell mojo is going down up there. So no person at right here *is wide-unfold with* how this works. however the God i believe in does no longer try this. certainly, i'm a Christian, and that i undergo in concepts my mom telling me that Jesus & God are for anybody and not only Christians or in spite of. some religions/human beings believe that God & heaven/paradise/in spite of is *only* for the human beings of their faith, yet i do no longer think of that makes somewhat experience in any respect. faith is notably stressful to maintain or maybe initiate, so i'm confident God could understand. yet you recognize, believe what you go with and enable others do an identical. EDIT: Saucy Ski Siren & James S's solutions made me snicker :) James S: ''good human beings do no longer circulate to heaven, Christians do.'' Hahaha :D you may desire to write that down. there is often quotes like those in those truly witty, humorous quotebooks.

God knows you, and you still talk to him. Sounds like you have a personal relationship with each other. I'ts no one else's business, especially not the gossipers at church...

Depends on what God. If they believe in Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit, then they are Christian. The lack of going to church does not make them anything else.

EDIT: if they are unsure about which God then they are agnostic.

If you believe in a generic personal god of some kind, but not the god of any particular religion, then you are simply a 'theist'.

Smart if you ask me. A spiritual person will find that they come much closer to God than a religious person ever will.
