I think most religions are patriarchal and would prevent feminism in any way. Making women wear body veils, female genital mutilation, women must remain silent in churches, women may not teach men... all of these things show women are oppressed and will continue to be so. Feminism is a pipe dream in most religions.

Define "most religions" ?

Feminism is a social entity like religion, like politics, like street crime, like......

There are lots of people that try to mix and match these entities but they hardly ever succeed.

History tels us that every attempt of 'improving' on religion has lead to a new branch of religion.

Famous examples:
Jesus: he did not intend to make a christian church but his ideas led to that from Judaism.
Martin Luther: Nailing his ideas to a door in Wittenberg were intended to get a discussion going. It lead to the first major separation from the roman catholic church.
Anglican Church: They have woman in official roles. (the church was 'created' so a king could remarry because they pope refused him his divorce.)

I think it DOES exist in most religions but it will only SHOW in a few.

Feminism is in direct opposition to the oppressive misogyny of some religious doctrine. I've never really known a deeply religious feminist.

I believe that most religions evolve over time, and that as long as that continues most religions will eventually come to accommodate feminism.

I think it is impossible to be a feminist and a member of most of the major World religions as they are inherently misogynistic and seek to control women and their sexuality.

Religions are controlled by men, therefore feminism has a slim chance.

I think it's extinguished as soon as it shows the slightest appearance. A good example is Lilith, Adam's first wife.
She was created from the earth the same time and same way as Adam was. When she wouldn't submit herself to him, she was demonized and then deleted from the Bible.

I don't know about "most religions", but, in the eyes of Jesus Christ, Who is both Lord and God, men and women are equal.

Religion does not give every woman the right to control her own destiny.

No; the basis of abrahamic religions is a masculine god, where women are seen as unclean, polluting, temptresses.
