For example, "Everyone Poops," "The Gas We Pass: The Story Of Farts".... and no this isn't a joke. Do you find these books to be odd and useless or helpful in potty training and teaching children?

I've hard of them. But unless a child develops a phobia of the toilet they are really not necessary and make potty trainign more of a game than just somethign that we have to do.

I think each parent has to find what works for their family with regards to potty training. If you child is asking questions and you aren't comfortable answering them directly, these might be a helpful resource.

I never used anything like this and my girls potty trained just fine...I suppose it would be up to you if you want to use these books or not....

I like ones that are a little less silly, but yes, i love informative books. My six yr old is smart as a whip thanks to books!!!
