Maybe something to do with this passage?
Luke 2:22 When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, "Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord"), 24 and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: "a pair of doves or two young pigeons."

The dove was a sign of the Holy Ghost ,like when John baptized Jesus : St.John1:32-34 The dove is used often and is a symbol of love and peace. In a dream it would depend on what is taking place but most likely it has similar meaning. It is a sign of the Holy Ghost and to receive the correct understanding of your dream simply pray and ask for the interpretation. You will be able to understand your own dreams.

It could represent many things. Most common is the feeling of peace. Did you by chance change something in your life or make a choice. Do you have to do one of those? If so, the dove tells you that you should have peace of mind in the choice that you've made.
