Well, my dance group is forcing us to learn square dancing. The guy that comes and teaches us always brings his 104 year old mother.

My relatives don't live that long but I've met alot in nursing homes doing visitations and such. I once had a great prayer partner who was in a nursing home. It's always such a change of pace and switching gears. My hectic world all the sudden slows down to their pace - I love older folks over 90! Well, I guess at age 86 my dad is getting close to the mark huh? It's sad - soon we'll have lost all of our WWII veterans - I think we lost all of the WWI ones already. The ones who experienced or were in or close to the holocaust are amazing to talk to.

My Great Grandad Jack turned 90 in the summer, and he's still going strong! I know of quite a few grandparents that lived to over 90, but we won't be at all surprised if Jack lasts until he's 100.

My great grandmother is still alive and she is 104 I believe and doing pretty well. It is interesting too because she smoked a lot of her life and she used to drink the fat and oil from the bacon pan after every breakfast, or pour it over her pancakes!
