Sounds like it's gonna be some good tasting steak. Experiment with your crock pot. You'd be surprised what you can make in it. You can put in a cut up chicken, some veggies, and some seasonings of your choice with a can of chopped tomatoes (juice too) and leave for 6-8 hrs. it's so good, my family loves this.

How long has it been in the crockpot for? If you just put it in, take it out, pat it dry, and pan sear it in a heavy skillet, for a few minutes on each side. What you're going to do in the crockpot is basically steam your steak, and most steak cuts are meant to be quick-cooked by searing or grilling.

It will be EXTREMELY SALTY, perhaps to a point you can't eat it. Teriyaki sauce has almost 1000mg of salt per tablespoon. It may be good if you throw in lots of vegetables and few cups of water to cover. 1 cup of Teriyaki sauce is too much though. Throw out what was not absorbed.

Well, I use a crockpot alot and maybe 4-8 hours would have been fine on low.... to medium. Its probably fine but it won't hold together. Next time go online to TV FOOD and get recipes... its safer that way

Will probably be dry. Probably wasted it. About 6 to 8 hours was plenty.
