you can also do what i did when i found out my little sister was engage to a older man same situation i went and talk to him about he better not hurt my sister well after talking to him i ask him to look at my new toy i bought well i opened up my coat and showed him a 9mm pistol that worked to this day he has never hurt her in any way

They don't have to be fair questions examples could be;
Why do you want to date my daughter?
ask him questions that you would not want to be asked, really opened ended questions so he can tell you what is on his mind.

My parents did not ask the guy questions - they asked me. If I could not provide answers - then I was not allowed to go out with him. I was expected to know this person well enough to provide answers.

Ok, questions I would ask. "How are you?" "How's school going?" "Have you got a part time job for after school, weekends or school holidays?" "Would you like a job like that if it was offered?"
Things like that can show a lot about a person.
What I'd like to ask is "Got a criminal record?" "P*ss in this so I can have it checked for drugs." "Do you realise that if you hurt her, I hurt you?"
Well, I said I'd like too.
Things I got asked when I was younger
"What are your intentions towards her?" "Where will you be taking her?" Stuff like that.

You should get your husband or brother or someone who is a male to ask him stuff. It'll be more intimidating. Ask him "Are you gunna treat her right" and ask him stuff about himself like his grades and what he does after school.
