Probably not, a great amount of the world is Christian but look at the division within that one religion itself. Something like 3000 different sects.

Which religion? Look at what the Islamic nations are like, under Islam: YIKES no thanks! Treat their women like dogs. Music and education banned...

Look at Europe when Catholicism ruled... we got torture, people burned at stakes, Jews chased and hounded all over, again, education for the masses was banned, lest the common folk would read and see the truth??

Hindu? Ever go to India? See the poverty, the not caring for the mass of suffering humanity, because "It's just their Karma" no need to care. Their caste system creates priviledged and untouchables.....

No, best to have NO religion. Best to have everyone with a genuine kind towards other humans heart.

From what I see and experience, there are a lot of people from various religions who exhibit such properties.

I wish everyone could be so. THEN we'd have a better world. There's got to be only one God. And His name should be love.

Well do you view the Inquisition and the dark ages as better days? Because History tells us that is an example of one tolerable religion. So many forget the desperation that drove us to this new world in search of the freedom to worship according to the dictates of our own concience. How would the population be forced to submit to this one particular religion? I think the History of the Roman Empire provides a great deal of light on what it would be like for the Nation itself and Dissenters.

People are too different. To have one organized religion would be forcing conformity to the world. Confromity is not what the world needs. Free will should be available to all men. Conformity would equal dictatorship. God gave us the right of free will. Besides I do not think the world would ever be at peace. Anarchists live to corrupt stability.

No, because that would be too uniform. It would mean that everyone thought the same way. It's better to have multiple religions.

The problem is getting people to understand that, no matter how you approach the destination, the destination is the same for everyone.

It would be a better place, if, hypothetically, that were the case. But you have to remember that if that were the case, the nature of humans would have to be changed, so it could possibly be actually a worse place. People naturally like to dissent and not everyone would put up with one religion.

Yeah. or, well I think every religion has the same outline, at least. All religions teach same things to human beings, and that is Goodness.

Only for those who's religion was chosen. I prefer my right to choose my reiligion as well as yours as guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States of America, which I swore to uphold and defend with my life if necessary.

Yes, but there would still be those people who didn't believe in it. I think no matter what, it's destined to be the way it is. There will always be curious people who go off and discover new religions and new gods or new reasons to disprove other's beliefs...

Having one religion for the whole world is impossible, because all of us have different viewpoints.
