You are spiritual, but not religious. Yes this is normal and it applies to many of us. There are many religions out there, with many followers who will tell you that their religion is the one true religion. Only you can decide what is right for you. If you decide to follow one faith and your are comfortable with it, great! If you choose not to follow one particular faith and continue to have the relationship with God that you currently have, excellent! You have to do right by you....and if God wants you to follow a particular path, only you will know.

Religion is a "man made" thing....God never intended for there to be branches of "religious organizations" if you will.....I am a born again Christian, meaning, I took the scripture John 3:16 on faith...asked Jesus into my heart and became a child of God...meaning I was saved at that very moment. I personally do not belong to any particular denomination....and I think that is very Biblical. I have an awesome relationship with the Lord....I mean one on one, and am constanly aware of his presence in my life.......I can not imagine it in any other way. I deny religion...I don't condemn religious organizations...but rather do not agree with them...we are commanded by God to pray for people.....and that is exactly what I do with what I call "religious" people.....

It's quite normal. Because bibles & other religious writings are written by man and depicted as he depicts it, there is room for error. I believe that God is so accepting that as long as you believe in something, anything, that it will ultimately be what happens to you.

You could be referring to agnosticism. I believe that's where you believe in a high power but you're skeptical about the religions regarding it. I provided a link for you to see as well.

Of course then there's atheist, but they don't believe in anything i think.

I don't believe in god or religion (can't have religion without god can you?). But it's fine with me if you believe in god and not religion. In the long run, it has no meaning anyway.
Good Luck!

If you accept scripture as the word of YHVH,and true, you must reject all organized religions. The "Christians" ignore/deny the first 2/3 of scripture, and the Jews deny the last 1/3.

If you believe in god u have to worship him in some sort. I'm a muslim who was born and raised in the states, i should practice what I'm preaching to as well. The reason I'm saying that is b/c Muslims have to pray 5 times a day. I'm very far from that!! I'm so disappointed in myself.

It works for me. I've studied most Religions and have come to realize (at least for me) that Religion is man-made dogma and merely a misunderstanding of Spirituality.
