America. I get to choose my doctor and don't have to wait 6 months to see him. Also, I don't speak French, and the government takes less of my paycheck (although not for long if Hillary gets elected) No disrespect to our friends up North. They are great allies, and I appreciate their friendship and loyalty.

Canada. Not just saying that because I am Canadian. If you have noticed the Canadian Dollar vs. American Dollar you will see that the American Dollar is worth less and less each day. 4-5 years ago, when I was working at a truck stop, one American Dollar was worth $1.50 Canadian. Now one American Dollar is worth $0.98 Canadian. That should speak volumes for itself, that the value has dropped that low in such a SHORT period of time.
While our health care system is not the BEST (long wait times for noncritical tests/surgery, not enough family physicians), it is definitely better than the alternative (US). At least in this country, if you need an operation to stay alive, you don't have to sell your car, house, and kids to get it. Health care is great in the US if you are one of the lucky ones that has a great insurance plan with their rich employer. But reality is that a lot of employers don't offer such benefits, and some people are unable to work due to disability and slip through the cracks of the medical system.
There are times when I would like to live in the US. For example, they do have some of the best universities around (Can we say Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Princeton?). There have almost 5 times the amount of States/Provinces than Canada which brings a unique culture right in your own backyard. It doesn't take 10 hours to drive into the next State/Province. For those that love hot weather/need hot, dry weather for their health, you can have it AND the choice of which southern State to live in.
Like someone else said, it depends on what factors are important to you. Also, it depends on when you are planning to move. Now is an ideal time to move to Canada - in a couple years, it may not be, time will tell.

To live in I'd say Canada, although I've only been there a few time's. To make money, the good old USA. Do like so many other people are doing, come here make as much money as you can, then go home take all our money with you and live like a king or queen in your country. Like Tony Montana said in the movie Scarface, " America's like a big @#%$* just waiting to get *%@$", and it's getting gang banged now.

Canada is the better country to live in. Because Canadians are Canadians, and Americans are,,,, well put it this way, Canada doesn't border Mexico.

America, because America doesn't have waiting lines for major medical operations.
But as a hockey lover, I would love to live in Canada because of all those lakes and ponds that stay frozen all winter. The ponds in northern Indiana freeze then thaw, freeze then thaw repeatedly through the winter. Dang it all!!! I wanna play hockey!!!
But bottom line: America.

Good question.
The USA, I think offers more opportunity to be what ever you want. Not because Canada personally impeeds you as a person, simply because there are more avenues here to explore.
Canada has better skiiing.
