Are you suggesting that it is idiotic to treat others the way that you want to be treated? Perhaps I should stop trying to propagate peace on earth by believing and teaching that we should all love one another, especially since you might believe that it is somehow idiotic.

It's similar to defining the opposite political party as idiotic. While from your viewpoint it may be true, it certainly is not the most political thing to do.

You need to remember that beliefs are strongly held by their believers and that insults rarely help anyone to change.

You can define the sun as a large candle floating in the sky if you want to. . .but that doesn't mean you're right.

Christianity has many intelligent, well-educated people in its ranks -- people who have studied the evidence for God and Jesus and found ample reason to believe. Of course, that involves being open-minded enough to look at all the possibilities, not just the ones that fit your personal prejudices.

Isaac Newton was a Chrisian. How do YOU think YOU would come out if we compared his mind to yours ? (hint: it would be drooling fool vs a mental giant, can you guess who the fool is?)
Mare Curie (TWO Nobel prizes) was a Christian... do YOU think you are as smart as she was ?
Hundreds of thousands of Christians (idiots to you) died in wars defending this country and fighting for freedoms of others. If it offends you, fine, but groundless and arrogant attacks like yours have no place in disputes about faith.
There are many highly educated people who are Christians, attacking them will do nothing to change that, but it only serves to define yourself as a narrow minded, small person.
If there was a doctor who could save your life and you found out he/she was Christian, would you refuse treatment as a matter of principle ? I think I know the answer, and is says nothing good about you.
People like you give bad name to Buddhists. I sense an unresolved Oedipus complex in you. BTW, Buddhists are compassionate and accepting of others, you are neither.

Makes you look very intelligent to say anyone that disagrees with you is an idiot? I find that each group is made of individuals, and all groups are more alike than different.
