Precious one - FIRST comes acknowledgement.
They need to open greeting God and acknowledging that they now know Jesus Christ is the Saviour, and that they believe in Him, that He lived, was crucified and then raised from the dead to take our sins away.
SECOND comes repentance.
They need to repent of their sins and ask for God's forgiveness.
THIRD is invitation.
They need to ask Jesus to come into their lives - to fill them with the Holy Spirit - and to live in their hearts from that day forward as their personal Lord and Saviour.
The exact wording is whatever is on the heart of the person pleading their case before God.
Please be sure that once your friend has accepted Jesus - that you help get them get a Bible, to get into a good church, and that they are taught how to study the Bible, and have a daily walk with God for themselves.
Bless you, dear one, for sharing Christ with others!
Peace.

Just tell him waht's on your mind. Like any father would like to know what there kids are up to. God is just the same. He wants you to talk to him, and help you figure out your own problems. As for your friend it's okay if u pray with him,but not for him. just start off the pray and explain to God how he wants to recieve christ and then let him talk to God a little. And if u like u can even end the prey. Just make sure your friend does most of the parying with you. hope this helps and good luck to ya!!!

There is many times that I don't know how to express my self in prayer but I find that when I just start my prayer and sometime sit there for a little I feel the connection with God and things that I didn't even realize that I need to pray about come out me. There no certain prayer you pray... Just ask Jesus to come into there heart and be there personal savior and he will. And good for you that you are living your life for God and others are seeing it and coming to you.

You should be very proud that number one your a christian and number two that you are willing to share your faith and to help your friend find christianity. You are doing something wonderful for that person.
I dont know If I could tell you what to say in a prayer. A prayer is personal, its your conversation with god. Just do what feels right, the words will come or ask your friend to pray, they need the practice and they should be asking god to come to them.

In the King James Version, Romans Chapter 9 verse 9
That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, amd sha;; believe in thy heart that God had raised Him fro the dead, you shall be saved. Pray to God, Confess that you are a sinner and ask Him to forgive you and come into your life and lead and guide you. You must have a serious heart and believe in Jesus and that He died for you. If you are serious and you pray this, you will instantly feel like a different person when you open your eyes..

Is there a false gospel going around America right now?
Jesus said: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:15
Right now in America people have changed this to "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Now pray this little prayer after me and you will be saved.
Do you see the problem here. The power of the gospel is lost. God is the one who saves not us. Only God can change the heart not us. We have to be broken with a heart of repentance and believe to be saved.
The false gospel going around says God has a wonderful plan for your life. Now pray this prayer after me and you will go to heaven. This gospel has no need for repentance. Repent means to turn from our sins. God will forgive you of anything you have every done no matter what it is. We are to repent and believe and continue to repent and believe the gospel. Salvation is not just like a flu shot. Oh I did that once. Salvation is only a supernatural work of God not a little prayer.

Just pray for God to come into their hearts. Say that they know they have sinned, but they accepted the fact that Jesus died on the cross for us sinners, so we would have eternal life. And, your friend wants to be filled with the goodness of God. Amen

You allow your heart to speak to you because that's where the Holy Spirit tells you what to pray. Everything that you pray for, you have to mean them with all your heart and all your mind and have faith that your prayer will be answered.
First, you ask your friend to repeat after you. And then, your start to pray. Allow the Holy Spirit to just come into your heart and the Holy Spirit will teach you what to pray.
Remember, we're never alone for we have Jesus in our hearts.
Have faith, my friend, and believe. And watch what God can do.

Start with thanks for God and who he is, and that he saves and loves us.
Acknowledge you are a sinner and by the cross your sins are forgiven in faith in Christ.
State: Jesus you are my Savior, enter my life forever and for the Holy Spirit to come and lead you.
Anything else that specifically apply but not too much.
The new believer should go to church!! Also - go to Harvest.org and look for the sinner's prayer or just google the sinner's prayer.

That is really interesting. One, you can't "pray Jesus into someones heart". And two, when a heathen wishes to be receive Christ as their Lord and Savior there is a 2 part process....only one part are you able to witness.
Ask them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is the son of God, born of a virgin who died on the cross and was risen on the 3rd day for the salvation of mankind. And second they must believe this in their heart for salvation. (this you cant know for sure)
Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
