Ok, so yesterday at like, 2 in the morning, a house in my town got caught on fire. But the thing is, is that I swear I saw it on Monday. My mom and and dad were talking about it at dinner last night, and I asked "Was it skinny, faded yellow, burned to almost a pitch black around the windows and holes in the roof frm the fire?" And they got real quiet and just looked at me. The thing is though, is that I never saw or been around that house. I figured when I saw it on Monday, tht it was just something weird going to happen soon.

This has happened to me before, like I had a dream 4 MONTHS before it happened (I had a dream that my brother got seriously hurt; 4 months later my brother got shot in the eye when he was paint balling with his friend and almost lost eye sight in the one eye, but my family knew about the dream). & my brother only got shot in the eye b/c he took his paint ball mask off to quickly clean off the paint.
This has happened over the years. I don't know.

I don't know how this is happening to me. If something bad is about to happen to someone close to me, I can tell ahead of time. It's happened so many times to me, I lost count.

Does anyone know what I should do?

About all I can tell you is to start writing down your dreams in a dream log. If you really do have a gift, well, I wouldn't really recommend going around calling people every time you have a dream of that sort, especially if you don't have the experience to fully understand if it is really psychic information or if what is going on in your dream is actually symbolic. Honestly I would just chalk up the thing with your brother as a coincidence, I think he got hurt in your dream for some form of symbolic reason. As for the house, I don't quite understand what you're trying to say there the way you put it. Just focus on writing your dreams down, and learning how to interpret them. I'm not poo-poo-ing the idea that you could be having psychic dreams, I have them from time to time myself, but instead of looking for your dreams to be psychic, write them down, and look at them for interpretation. If something happens later that appears like you may have dreamed about it, then make a note in the dream the date it happened, and what happened that you think it was psychic. Study your dreams for a long time, and maybe you will be able to learn how to identify when a dream is psychic, then when you can reliably tell the difference between a dream that is psychic, and one that is not, maybe you can develop it as a skill. In any case I would caution you against calling someone you dreamed about and telling them you dreamed something awful about them for a number of reasons:
You could be programming a self fulfilling prophecy about this person.
There may be some other reason why this information was given to you, and interfering could mess up the overall picture.
Let's say for example that you dream your bff's mom has to go to the hospital, and then she does in real life. That may be purely symbolic, or the reason you dreamed it might not be so that you can tell your friend about it, it might be to alert you that you have a job to do in the future, and that the job is for you to be there for your friend and be supportive of her, understand what I mean?

The meaning of what happened in the dream may be purely symbolic, and you need to learn how to interpret the dream in order to find out what the real problem is.

If you're wrong, you have caused someone needless fear and worry.
People tend to think that people walking around talking about psychic dreams are nuts.

If it turns out you were right, well, frankly it scares the bejeebers out of your friends and family members, sometimes it's just best just to keep your mouth shut.

In any case, if it seems as though you have a gift, and have the ability to develop it, you also have to develop the experience and wisdom to understand when it is appropriate to tell about a dream, and when it is not...

Your experience is not unknown at all - but there may be some very ordinary reasons:

In the case of your brother you were no doubt already aware that he was a paintballer - and you may have had some subtle concerns built in by certain observations. Did you perhaps ever notice that he was handling an enabled gun without eye protection? Or do you have an ordinary fear of what can happen in such games, including injuries to eyes, etc? Very likely one of these or some similar observation imprinted itself and worked itself back out in a dream whereby your brother was injured - a valid kind of warning, actually, but one really based on observations that you were not even aware of.

As to the house - that seems a bit more weird, but consider that the same mechanism may have been in play. Someone may have said something around you about the place and it stuck in the back of your head, subconsciously ("that old place? What a fire trap...") - hard to say. It does sound as if some sort of foreshadowing had been planted and then recalled almost violently when a corresponding event occurred. Very interesting thing.

I'd say you are a keenly observant person, even to the point of absorbing much information you are not even conciously aware of. I'd also believe you have a very articulate mind and imagination that creates detailed dreams to both unload and offer foreshadowing messages and that has an ability for vivid recall of subliminal information when triggered by events that 'come true'.

I don't think it's supernatural, although there's an element there that cannot always be so easily dismissed.

Read up on dreams and those who have had them throughout history. The bible mentions many dreamers who were related to prophecy and the fulfilment of same. I happen to be a believer, but also one who believes very often these people were gifted in the manner I mention above - which in my case would be to say "God works in mysterious ways" - and often uses the 'ordinary' skills of 'ordinary' people to do these things.

Do heed your dreams without being alarmist - and don't worry, you're perfectly normal.

Good luck!

Hi there, White&nerdy,

Let's see what you've got.......

You are experiencing what is called precognitive dreaming. These dreams usually occur within 3 days (minimum) after having seen them.

They center around your life... I should say.......

Not prophetic because it is not meant for the masses and you are put to task in the dream......

You need to learn to hone in on this gift you have. When you lay down in slumber, get into the habit of mediation and prayer. While in this state of mind, ask God for greater understanding of your gift. In the days to come, and I mean that literally, it will prove handy......
