I think a lot of people in this country need to be reminded that it's St George's Day and should celebrate it in some way. The problem is that we are afraid to show how we feel in case we offend someone, so the majority of people just ignore it. We are too polite. If somone has a problem with me celebrating St. George's Day then tough.

what about the evacuation of children to the countryside during ww2?
the 14th century civil war- ie the house of lancaster vs the house of york?
stonehenge?
english artists? ie turner, constable
oh I know- guy fawkes and the gun powder plot. That's the reason for commercially produced fireworks

they burnt women where ever they saw them back in the middle ages and their universities didnt accept women until recently...hmm what else...no life, no love, no money, no nothing. that should give you a good idea about the female scouts in england.

its kool that your a G.S. leader but how do you do that and 2 other jobs or is that your other job?
