Maybe you're praying for the wrong kind of things.
If you don't believe then why are you bothering to ask this question?

A good question, really... Nobody truely knoes the answer behind it, but i wanna speak my mind. See, as we all know, God knows about the future, which may contain many unknown dangers, which we donot know of, so maybe God does not listen to our prays at times because He knows it's gonna end with something terrible for us. And according to Holy books, God loves us. We never know that one loss, one sad moment could change into a hundred happy moments and one happy moment could unexpectedly change into a thousand mercilessly cruel moments, all because of one mistake. Example: If one's bro/sis dies, that person would feel terrible, horrible and may even lose believe in God. But he/she never knows what would happen later, in the future. Maybe you find a new person in ur life, that u love alot, who's there for u at all times, that can also be 'the reward' for bearing the pain God gave you. Remember, God only tests you to the point you can handle, and if something really bad happened to you, then u should know that u have a higher patience level than other people who didn't experience such pain. I have gone through tragedy myself, and no matter how much I prayed, nothing happened. It even drove me to the point that i lost belief in God. But, if there is no God, can you answer this question: Who created this universe, then? Somethings are just good for you, some aren't, even when we don't, God does, so he does it to test us and later save u from something that is even worse. Have faith, and be patient. Remember, we only know about the present, not the future and if there is a 'Divine being' out there, like God, then he knows the best for us. Just focus on what you have, never on what u don't have or u wished u had. Good Luck!

If you don't believe then the answer is simple, there is no god to help you.
If you do believe then the answer is also easy. God does not work to do your will but his own. Jesus instructed those that pray to ask for his will to be done, not yours. So when you pray all you need to do is say this:
Lord, do as you wish, because that's what you already said you would do anyway. In Jesus name, amen.
In fact, if god is going to do his will, then why bother praying for it. That's like asking me to do what I want to do, isn't that a given...

You are a part of God. God works through you. To be open to God, is to be open to yourself. Everything you need to make your physical reality a good one, is already within you. Inspiration, faith, creativity, hope, love, peace, motivation, determination, these are the tools that the Lord has provided. If you reject them, you are only cheating yourself out of a wonderful life that God has given you.
A booming voice from the sky will not happen. You need to realize that creation is also a scientific process. The voice of God can only be heard through the love in your heart. You already have all the answers of the Universe. You must learn to access this knowledge through your DNA. The universal knowledge is there waiting for you to access it. But do so within your own mind and your own body.

He might have already answered and you are not accpeting it because it was not what you wanted to hear. It is too bad that you feel this hatred towards God. The things he allows, or disallows are for our good. Whatever you are praying for might not have received an answer because it is not the right time, or as I stated, he might have answered, but you didn't hear the answer or aren't accepting it.
Blessings to you and hopefully your heart will stop being hard.

Sorry you feel that way...
God is real... I have, and many people I know have had answers to prayer that are from God alone. Especially when we cry out to him.
Of people have mixed feelings and don't think God is real or will do anything then there is no faith in that and he does not often work that way.
There is evil and good. no doubt about it. Seek evil - you will get more of it. Seek good and it will multiply too.
Ask God to show you if he is real... he will never fail to do so.

How sad....... I'm sorry you don't know our loving Jesus. Jesus is real! We don't 'make up' God, we have an intimate relationship with Him. Those who have a relationship with Jesus, get their answers from him. Sometimes the answers are yes, sometimes Jesus uses other people to teach us what we need to learn, sometimes the answer is just simply no or maybe or not now. We all need to learn to listen and look for his leading in our lives. Jesus is a person - just like your friend. You talk to your friend and ask for advice and sometimes you get it right away, and sometimes your friend tells you to 'think about a few things'.... then they talk to you again. It's a lot like that. Prayer is talking to Jesus. Jesus says 'come reason with me'.... That means He will listen to you and talk with you or reason with you. Remember, God is not Santa Claus. You don't give him a list and tell him to fill it. God is your loving Savior - there's a difference.

According to the Early Christian Churches (feudal times) God did not help sinners (and of course we are all sinners in God's eyes.), we were given free will, and they said that God only helped those who helped themselves. Contradictions? I think that we should not hate a Deity just because he left us to care for ourselves, just do the best we can under the circumstances.

He does . He's saying WAIT. I can not say nothing happens. It does, It did for me. He may not come on your time. He comes and answers on his time. With your attitude you will not get a prayer through. You must be obedient to his word and humble yourself. He knows if you are serious or not.

Do we only create what we hate? I think not. Art and literature contain many created things that are beloved and good.
However, it's easy to be angry at "god" because we are told he is both all-good and all-powerful--but does he do anything to stop or prevent evil? Nope.
