I know popular guys does, but the nice, unpopular guys. When they're going out with someone, would they like their gf to play hard-to-get with them, or just a little and still care and pay attention to them like a real gf??

What 'playing hard to get' is supposed to mean is, 'Don't be pathetic about accepting a guy's attention.'
In other words, don't go out with a guy just because he asks you. Decide whether you like and trust the guy before you say yes.
It's not supposed to give a girl license to play with guys as if they were fish to be lured in.
It's best to just be honest with each other.

Playing hard to get is a game. Mostly for very immature adults with no life or sense or self, or very young people. If they like playing games or fancy themselves a player then sure they will love it, otherwise no.
If you think of yourself (even remotely) as a player then play to your hearts content.
If your looking for something real and not into wasting your time and energy skanking around and risking your life then don't play games.
Games are best left to the PS3, Wii or xBox not the dating scene where babies and death are real possibilities.
Note: 75% of the people with kids I know said they were all using birth control. Its NOT 99.9% effective. Also, nothing can protect you from STDs but a blood test before you sleep with someone.

I would say don't play hard to get. As if there not one of the popular guys then they may lack confidence. And feel that if they don't have a chance then give up. As there's no point chasing something that they can't get.

As a boy I would work very hard to get noticed and \i'd put up with the hard do get gf's. But not know cos I wont be dissed in this manner. So its Next!

Playing hard to get ensures never getting caught. Guys like girls who make some moves to show interest, because they aren't too good at catching clues. Don't be a slu*, but do stick around and show some interest or he will find greener pastures.

I was never popular, and for me if you play hard to get, that will just make me move on and go for someone else. be yourself. I like my girl to pay attention to me, and care about me and be real. being fake is immature and dumb.

No, I like honest girls that smile a lot. They must care for me too. If you want to know how I look, I look kinda like my avatar, but I'm tall (5 foot 7 or 8 I think) and I'm 15.

Everyone is an individual, they will all react differently.
Personally I would be put off by a girl being either too hard to get or too keen too early.
