The ceremony is at 6:00, so there will be plenty of time to do everything that day, I just dont know when to schedule my hair/ makeup etc. We are taking 99% of pictures before the ceremony (we'll take a few afterwards to catch the sunset) and I dont know how long that normally takes...here is my schedule for the day, please tell me if it makes sense or sounds crazy!

12:30-3:00: hair,makeup (2 hrs), travel to ceremony site(1/2 hr)
3:00-4:00: get dressed, jewelery, final touches, etc
4:00-5:45: pictures
6:00 ceremony

I agree w/I Love Coffee, try to be done w/your pictures before 5:45p, otherwise there is only 15minutes to seat the guests. You know, there are always those people who arrive super early, too ~ you don't want them to be just standing around. Plus, I don't know if it is important to you ~ but some people think the bride/bridal party shouldn't be seen (by the guests) until the actual ceremony.

Try starting everything at noon, instead of 12:30 or allow 45min (rather than an hour) to get dressed. That should have your pictures done by 5:30

Good luck & congrats :)

I would be done with pictures before 5:45. You are going to want at least 1/2 an hour to re-fix your makeup or sit and reflect. It seems like that 15 minute window might be tight. The last thing you want is to be rushing around touching up your makeup or running to the bathroom (which takes forever in a dress)

Not sure how that will effect your hair/makeup schedule. But, I would give yourself extra time everywhere. It's better to be sitting around and waiting, then rushing and stressing out.

Your schedule sounds good...sounds like enough time for everything and they will start taking the most important pics first and then by the end, fit in what they can before the ceremony. If there are any others you want, you can capture this after the ceremony. Good luck and congratulations!

My photographer is arriving at our ceremony/reception location three hours before the wedding begins. (He does not charge for amount of time at the wedding, it's unlimited). This gives him plenty of time to check out the location & choose places to take pictures. He will also be there to take pics of everyone getting ready plus the regular pictures of the groom with his groomsmen & me with my bridesmaids. Also, we should be able to finish about 30 minutes before the ceremony begins so we can just relax without feeling rushed.

I think the timeline you have set is pretty good, I would just have the photographer arrive with everyone else at 3:00.

An hour and forty five minutes seems like a lot of time for pictures. As long as you have someplace you can go and sit if you wrap up early, then I wouldn't worry about it. Our pics were between the ceremony and reception and didn't take more than an hour. You should see what your photographer recommends.

Pictures definitely take 2 hours at least. Well, mine did!! I would schedule 2 hours 15 mins or 2.5 hours to be safe. The last thing you want is to be rushing around.....! Good luck!

Schedule some extra time for pictures so you are not rushed. Move your schedule up by 45 minutes for everything and you should be ok.
