Sure can. However, for 3-4 days I don't bother to freeze it as its already cooked. I freeze mine because we have eaten enough turkey to last for a couple of weeks or so. I put the carcass in the freezer and defrost it about the end of January when we are all ready for tasty turkey soup with rice, celery, carrot & onion.

It variety of relies upon on how massive your turkey is. you are able to constantly upload salt to the soup later. 4) deliver to a boil and decrease warmth to deliver the inventory to a low simmer. 5) Simmer uncovered a minimum of four hours, occassionally skimming off the froth that includes the exterior. in many situations, if we initiate the soup interior the nighttime, we are going to simmer for various hours, turn off the warmth, cover with an honest-installation lid, and leave on the range for the nighttime. interior the morning, we turn the warmth decrease back on and produce the soup as much as a simmer lower back. (Reheating the soup this manner, and bringing it to a severe simmer for a minimum of 10 minutes will kill any microbes that would have made their way into the soup.) 6) get rid of the bones and tension the inventory. 7) If making inventory for destiny use in soup it somewhat is recommended to shrink the inventory via simmering some hours longer to make it greater focused and much less complicated to keep.
