The doctors keep givin her drugs but they won't actually diagnose what is wrong.Now just cos my gran is 60 +,it doesn' mean that she no longer deserves anything.It is ridiculous cos my grans depressed and in pain.

60+ chances are your Gran has Osteoarthritis. This is considered normal wear and tear of the joints and it can be painful. As for the sore foot, could be due to circulation problem? Does she smoke? Does she have Diabetes?
Depression is part of your Gran not feeling well, so she really needs to seek medical help and DEMAND diagnosis and treatment. Good Luck

As presented, it is an almost impossible question to answer, other than treating the depression. How many doctors have you seen? Have you tried meds over the counter? Most of them started as prescription medication. As about Lidoderm, it's a patch with the same kind of thing the dentist uses for numbing your mouth. What about a chiropractor? Acupuncture? Try asking this in alternative medication. I know there are several herbs for pain, sometimes alternative medication is better than the traditional medications. Funny, alternative has been around longer than traditional. There may be poultices, or other kinds of pain reliever available in this manner. Good luck.
