My sister and I have both been having dreams about our mother dying, what could this mean??

Lisa, how old are you and your sister? Are you both just about grown up / out of the house? Has your mom started something new lately, like a new job, or classes, or anything like that? Death in dreams is rarely about actual death, it is more often about beginnings and endings. If you and your sister are old enough to be out of the house, or just about old enough to be thinking about that in your future, then this dream could mean a couple of things. One thing it could mean, is that your mom is on her way to starting a new phase in her life. She will always be "Mom", but she doesn't have to do as much parenting as she did when you were younger, and as you get older and get out of the house, she will be going on to a new phase where she can go on to new experiences, and re-frame her identity as a person, and not just as a parent. Also, as you are getting older, it could mean that you and your sister are going on to a more mature level in your lives, you will always need your mom for as long as she lives, but you don't need her in the way you did when you were little anymore, and her dying in your dreams could be a symbol of increasing autonomy and independence from her...

Is somebody in your current life leaving? It's not necessarily your mother but someone close or known to both you and your sister. Death represents distance or separation in dreams.

you cant predict someone dying my grandpa was 75 and in perfect health no one thaught he would have died but thats the way life is

that is very scary. dont be scared though. i also dreamed like that so many times. nothing ever happened. just pray. ill be praying for ur mom.

sounds scary did you talk to each other before hand about your fear of loosing your mother maybe its just that so don't put to much energy and lose sleep over it
