Every person that I have known on a personal basis that has professed to being gay, has told me stories of being molested, raped, abused, or indoctrinated as a pre-teen into the gay life style.
Also I have heard that the organization called "Nambla"
would like to see laws passed that allow men & boys( as low as age 9) to be able have sex together freely. Now any adult in their right mind knows that children are not capable of making decisions in the same manner as an adult would be capable. Yet these homosexuals somehow have this idea that when it comes to having sex with a them, these children are mature enough mentaly & emoitionaly to carry on a homosexual realationship with them. I am sorry but that just sounds like child molesting to me. I don't know why so many are getting upset towards me. I am relaying info that was said to me and info that I read. I never stated my opinion about anything. The info on the Nambla organization has projected itself as a major force behind Homosexuality movement since the 19th century. If this is something that is not true, or if it offends you take it up with them. I am just asking the question

You speak in half truths, so I will clarify. Firstly NAMBLA is real and scary as hell. It has nothing to go with the gay community, in fact the GLBTQ communities in general have taken many steps to say many times they have no association, do not condone them, and wish to have nothing to do with them, period.

Pedophiles have one sexual preference, youth, it does not matter if it's a boy or a girl. They prey on youth, innocence and I think it's quite disgusting and a mental disease.

And no I have never been sexually abused, nor do I know any gay friends who have been either. There is a huge amount of misinformation out there. And yes sexual abuse is a horrible thing, but if you further question these people you will find far more problems then just sexual desire. It can really destroy a person's adult life, in pretty much every way.

And for the record there are Christians who want the age laws revoked as well. Many who partake and believe in child brides. And many child brides who are raised from birth to be given away to a family at a very young age. This has nothing to do with plural marriage by the way, there are even further cases in those societies, but I don't wish to draw those sorts of parallels. But many religious compounds do support marriages and child brides far younger than the legal consent ages.

I was molested at a very young age, but I know for a fact that being molested does not determine sexuality.

I think the man who did that to me was sick, and I cannot conceive of an adult desiring a child; it is beyond my comprehension.
So it is also not true that people who are molested go on to molest. In fact, because I was molested, I know the confusion and pain that comes from it, and i would not want another human being to go through what i went through.

I have never heard of this Nambla, but I hope they have all been arrested and put where they belong.

I have known some gays and lesbians who have been molested. I have known far more (like my brother) who was not.

While there are some very bizarre gay men out there who support sick behavior (like you mentioned), the overwhelming majority of gay men do not. To make a similar point: the overwhelming majority of people in America who commit sexual crimes against children are white, heterosexual men. As a married white man myself, this does not mean I support it.

I would encourage you to not obsess about NAMBLA or any other extreme organization. While we need to fight against groups like NAMBLA, it is more important to build bridges with people who, like us, simply want to live our lives, support our families, and be good citizens.

Also if you are approaching this from a scientific point of view, pedophilia is a par aphelia. It is a sexual fetish so to speak. Actually paraphilia and fetishes are seperate, but we'll simplify and I'll try to use small words. It's considered a disorder, a short in the brain. Homosexuality is not.

You need to understand that child molesters are not Gay they are just child molesters.

I was sexually abuse by two different women as a child. Can you logically conclude that this is why I am heterosexual?

In the strictest sense these women may have been pedophiles but they were not Gay.

If you had common sense then you would see that this organization is made up of a bunch of pedophiles. What you are suggesting about the gay community is appalling! I have a wonderful married couple who lives next door and they would take great offense at this. Pedophile does not equal homosexual. What you're implying is just absolutely revolting.

it think that website was set up by a bunch of perverts who want to molest young boys without the fear of going to jail. i was molested as a kid (cant beleive i just typed that) and although im not gay i have had problems getting close to people, i dont even trust my own family and i get depressed anytime i think about what happened.
