the Bible says..."in this world you will have troubles....but I have over come the world."

Keep the faith....it will pay off

It sounds like you've taken the first baby steps to becoming a Christian. Sounds like, from your own admission, that you'd be a really good Boy Scout! How about being a man of God?
Go ahead and do all the things you are doing now and in 30, 40, 60 years, you can look back and say that you did good.
Then, you can stand before the Judgment Seat of God and explain that to Him.
Wow. Then you'll find out what your life was supposed to be.
There's something missing in your and you're searching. If I may - "open the door and you will find it."

You are born-you grow up-you get a job-you get old-you get sick and you die.Try to have some fun along the way and always treat others the way you would want to be treated.Always believe in god and try to follow his teachings and yes the reward is in the end.I am sorry to tell you but it is true that nice guys finish last.Be happy with what you have. This life sucks for good honest people but at least you can feel good about the way you lived it.

Well, first of all, being a "good, moral person" ISN'T going to get you into heaven, as seen here:

Ephesians 2:8-9 (New International Version)

8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.

As far as what awaits us:

What could be better than an eternity in the presence of Christ Jesus?

Sort of like when you have to work so hard just to get a small weekly pay check and the next guy goofs off all day and wins the lottery...sometimes the best rewards come after a real struggle and overcoming many trials!

Challenges help u to grow and realize your potential which may otherwise would have gone unnoticed. Our life here is just transition. So, death is just a door for us to get to the other side without being bound by the physical body. Death is not a scary matter afterall.

Meanwhiloe, live life to the fullest so that you will have no regrets when looking back.

A human must die before death catches them.
The pie must be tasted here or a human won't know what the pie tastes like in the next stage of spiritual development.
The pie is within man, one need look no farther...............

"Look not for the reward, and it shall appear on its own."

"Peace be always with you."

you failed to explain your so called rough deal. no one has life easy unless you're born rich.

and you have to learn to accept small rewards in life. I'm not eating steak and eggs 3 times a day, but I do enjoy a good cigar, I enjoy my movie collection. I enjoy a good book once in awhile.
I may be an old fart, but I still enjoy watching young girls walking by. there are many real life rewards. you just need to find your own.
I enjoy being able to call my out of state buds and talk to them, and talk to them on yahoo messenger and send notes back and forth in email.

best wishes to you.
life AIN'T fair....but it CAN be fun if you try.
