Isaiah 66:23 Answers that question directly.
God is the SAME yesterday, today, and FOREVER.
He Sanctified the Sabbath at Creation, Told his people (FOR ALL TIME) not to forget it in the 10 Commandments, he kept it throughout His life as an example, His disciples kept it in the New testament, it shows that His people will be keeping it "in time of the end" (on earth) and in Isaiah it discloses that we will be keepng it in heaven.

If God's sabbath was exemplified today then your question would not be asked. Unfortunately, many people are confused about which is the true sabbath. Is it true the Jewish sabbath, the Christian sabbath, or man's sabbath is not God's sabbath?

Small mined religious bigots accused Christ of disregarding "the Sabbath"--seems some things never change.
