I use biodegratable garbage bags. Once they are filled with feces from around my yard (takes about 2-3 weeks) then we bury the bag in the woods. I guess that is as environmently friendly as you are going to get. I also know some owners who use compost.

I suppose when we are going to consider this question we should include the disposal of baby nappies.

Nappies should be put in a bright red sealed bag with a label 'toxic waste'

We could do the same for dog feces

Could we put the dog feces down the toilet?, I don't know

What about drying out the dog feces and using them as an alternative fuel, I am led to believe in some parts of the world they dry out and burn various animal feces

I am the ranger at a local park, and the dog poo, although having separate bins for people to put it in, is collected with the other park rubbish...it all gets compacted into a squishy mess together in the lorry, so don't suppose it makes much difference...it's all to be avoided when it gets to the dump...

What is wrong with ppl putting dog poop in trash?
As long as its sealed in a bag when its thrown in the trash, I dont see the issue.
Unless of course u like digging in other ppls trash??!! hmm.

Well they should properly dispose of the feces.

I highly doubt it will be a law and if it is it won't be enforced.

there are too many laws......... and this one would be rediculous.... yes untreated dog poo......... should not go down direct lake or river drains (remain untreated) but all garbage is treated @ the dump for solid break-downs
