Myself and my girlfriend have been together for almost 2 years and finally feel we're both ready to loose our virginity to each other. However, our families after being good friends themselves fell out months back and don't like the fact we're still seeing each other, and our parents don't go out an awful lot so we're finding it hard to be alone to do what we want and have some privacy.
What I really would like to ask is what sort of place we could be alone where it is reasonably comfortable and we can enjoy the experience - obviously we've thought about renting a room for a night but she doesn't want that.
Any suggestions would be most grateful. Thanks

Camping.. too cold really..
Car.. neither of us going to be driving for a couple of months
Room.. not allowed in each others house because of family..

I suggest getting a room. Not a cheap, "do you want the room for a few hours or the whole night" kind of place but a real nice one. The honey moon suite at our local motel was the fave for me and my husband when we were dating. It had a wirlpool tub and a kingsized bed with a canopy. It was really nice.
Add some romantic candles, something bubbly on ice and a picnic style dinner for two in the room.
Most of all don't rush it! Even after renting the room and setting the mood, don't feel obligated to "use" it, just be happy together and let the moment lead you.

How about one of your/her friends house?
When their parents are gone one evening maybe.
Otherwise, if you can't find the "perfect" place, then wait.
You have been a virgin this long, what's a little while longer.

Don't do it till you r married but the best place is her house . That is where she is alone and comfortable !

camping, in a car, or in your room... very quietly haha. you could watch a movie or something in your room with a blanket over you and get a hand job or something. or finger her...
