To convert from Islam even though you are not a practicing Muslim is punished by death.
In Iran if the government doesn't do it in the open they use mentally unstable people to go and murder people, especially Christians.
Mehdi Dibaj was arrested and jailed for ten years for being a Christian then while in jail sentenced to death!
Haik Hovsepian the leader of the Evangelical Christians was murdered!

well, there's no need to emphasize on converting to Christianity. In some parts of the world it is risky to simply convert out of Islam to any religion. Mostly, there would be no problem at all in most part of the world.

well. most people, mainly government people in islamic countries are Islam or Muslim. therefore if u convert into Christianity many people around will get mad and burn down churches, houses and kill u. Thats why many Christian pastors get killed there. CHristians r more forces full w/ words than actions and they r also more welcoming. Muslim/islam people feel that u r betraying Allah and that it is their duty to make u pay. They want everyone around them to follow allah
