Lincoln Benedict would be perfect! The only problem that I see is that it may be hard to spell at first for him because of the silent "L". However, Lincoln is certainly not unheard of so it will be easy for everyone else to spell, and he'll learn it just fine. It's not overly common or uncommon; I believe it's ranking was somewhere in the mid-200s. It's two syllables, does not start with G, and it is a historical name. I adore the name Benedict, so it was awesome to see that as a middle name option. Lastly, I think Lincoln Benedict and Julius Arthur sound incredible together! Both names are very charming. Good luck! ♥

I have 2 great pyrenees, and they consider small dogs something they need to protect like puppies. That may be a good match.
Go to the akc website and read up on them. Google Great Pyrenees breed traits and personality and see what the websites say. Find out if they might be the right dog for you.

You inidicate you have 2 big dogs... you didn't say what breed they are.

btw: pyrs are not as dog aggressive as other large breeds

What about Golith (don't know if that is spelled right)? We have a little dog (10 lbs) and he totally orders my big puppy around (who's already 40lbs and 3 months old!) If you are into sports you could name him after a really big person in sports.
