Guys do you like a girl who is intelligent, interesting and has her own opinions.
Or do you prefer a very normal girl next door type who never does anything out of the ordinary and is just very normal and typical?
I usually see guys dating the boring, really normal girls and not the ones who have their own opinions and are interesting in some way. What's with that?

There is nothing more of a turn on for me than a confident strong intelligent and interesting woman. She must however remember her own qualities as a woman (sensitive, caring, feminine nature). Not too much swearing and 'F' words and please be a non smoker!! (Give me shout if you fit the bill)
PS. I would like to think I match these myself except the feminine bit!! lol

Usually men get intimidated by an intelligent woman or a girl But as the saying goes 'if you have to go some where take an intelligent companion but never a fool' But then there are different types of people with different likes and dislikes. Perhaps most people dont know that an intelligent woman or a girl is marvelous in bed.

You are going to get alot that say intelligent and interesting. Bear in mind that different people find different things interesting..One person may consider me to be "interesting" while yet another would find me quite ordinary. Its all a matter of taste.
As for intelligent, you are only as smart as the company you keep. Compared to some guys know I am a mensa giant as for others I am the "dumb" one
*edit* Normal and Really Boring are also a matter of perspective..I think I am normal but some guys find me rather interesting

Gender and intelligence are separate things, SOME girls may concentrate better than guys for god knows what reason, I have noticed in my own experience that some girls concentrated better in class than I did. Guys and girls can get distracted, although it does seem to occur more in males, it doesn't mean girls are more intelligent though. However, let's be honest, testosterone in males does make a lot of them very ignorant, there are stupid females too, although it seems to me, that more girls are more mature than many guys. But the bottom line is this, girls are not smarter than guys.

I don't understand what you are calling normal.
I like girls that say what's on their mind.
I don't want a robot or a doll that you pull a string and she says hello my name is sally......I would want someone to talk to and ask how they see things.
A yes person That wouldn't last 24 hours I'd go nuts!

i am proud in answering to a question from the top contributor. good wishes and happy new year 2008. pl accept my wish. All guys doesn't like intelligent and interesing girls. They will see girls like slaves and they expect that the girls should obey. intelligent girls won't obey and question him. they want to take out but normal ones generally won't agree or hesitate. coz of marrying, they both jumping with another and other to another. The guys des't realise the intelligent girls wil help. normal ones won't jump. generally, these days guys are in a confused stage. This is my personal opinion.

I like intelligent, interesting girls who have opinions and can defend their opinions. I don't want a boring girl who lacks common sense and agrees with whatever I say all the time. (Which is why I'm single..)

I would prefer a more smarter girl who has the ability to voice her own opinion. I find that very important. Girls who cant are what i call sheep, they follow everyone else and fear rejection if they have an opinion
