The explanation for strong-smelling, dark urine could simply be that you're not drinking enough fluid and your urine is very concentrated. But if you have any of these symptoms:

Pain (stinging or burning) on passing urine
Constant feeling of needing to pass urine
Difficulty starting to pass urine
Fever
Generally feeling unwell, nauseous

or are still worried, get it checked by your doctor.

Try drinking alot of water or cranberry juice to flush your kidney's since your not in any pain. If your in pain go to the doctor. Lay off the soda, tea and of course coffee.

I think you drink coffee on the day that's why your urine smells like coffee.

Do you drink alot of coffee? Its probably nothing to be concerned about, most likely it has to do with what you are eating and drinking.

If it's dark coloured or hurts when you pee, then yes you probably should see a Doctor as you could have a urinary tract infection or a kidney problem.
