Loathe: raw or pickled onions.
Crave: the Indian sweet called Pista Burfee or else the cake called Cafe Renoir.
There's an old saying about this. It's as old as Chaucer and a long time before Shakespeare.
HE SHOULD HAVE A LONG SPOON THAT SUPS WITH THE DEVIL
Meaning: If you keep bad company you will need to be on your guard. If you agree to partake of the devil's hospitality, you are on dangerous ground and need to beware.
The reference to a long spoon is obscure; probably it emphasizes the distance it is necessary to keep from the potent contamination of the devil.
The proverb was known in the fourteenth century. Chaucer has it in his Canterbury Tales: 'Therfor bihoveth him a ful long spoon/ That shal ete with a feend,' (The Squire's Tale, c1386).
And Shakespeare referred to it in The Tempest (1610) where Stephano says of Caliban: 'This is a devil, and no monster; I will leave him; I have no long spoon.'
So for me it looks like Cafe Renoir with a long spoon. Burfee is eaten with fingers!

I would ask for a Bible to be put on my plate and start praying for God to save me.
If I am in hell obviously the Christians were right and I was wrong.
Man does not live by bread alone but by every word of God.

Your story reminds me of a story I heard at church camp years ago. In hell the tables are laden with delicious food. However, the people there have no arms but have giant forks and spoons strapped to their backs. Since they have no arms, they can't reach around to take the fork and spoon off their back in order to feed themselves. So they are constantly tormented by the fact that they can't eat the feast right in front of them.
The same situation is in heaven but with one big difference: the people have found a way to feed one another uitilizing the forks and spoons on their backs. I guess the story is an illustration of "love your neighbor as yourself" and "do onto others as you would have them do onto you"

Hell
[56:41] Those of the left, will be on the left.
[56:42] In misery and inferno.
[56:43] Even their shade is hot.
[56:44] Never cool, never tolerable.
[56:45] They used to be rich.
[56:46] They insisted on the great blasphemy.
[56:47] They said, "After we die and turn to dust and bones, we get resurrected?
[56:48] "Does this include our forefathers?"
[56:49] Say, "The early generations and the later generations.
[56:50] "Will be summoned to a meeting on a predetermined day.
[56:51] "Then you, O disbelieving strayers.
[56:52] "Will eat from the trees of bitterness.
[56:53] "Filling your bellies therefrom.
[56:54] "Then drinking on top of it hellish drinks.
[56:55] "Then adding drinks of sand."
[56:56] Such is their share on the Day of Judgment.
Reflections
[56:57] We have created you, if you could only believe!
[56:58] Have you noted the semen that you produce?
[56:59] Did you create it, or did we?
[56:60] We have predetermined death for you. Nothing can stop us
[56:61] from substituting new generations in your place, and establishing what you do not know.
[56:62] You know about the first creation. Do you not remember?
[56:63] Have you noted the crops you reap?
[56:64] Did you grow them, or did we?
[56:65] If we will, we can turn it into hay. Then you will lament:
[56:66] "We lost.
[56:67] "We are deprived."
[56:68] Have you noted the water you drink?
[56:69] Did you send it down from the clouds, or did we?
[56:70] If we will, we can make it salty. You should be thankful.
[56:71] Have you noted the fire you ignite?
[56:72] Did you initiate its tree, or did we?
[56:73] We rendered it a reminder, and a useful tool for the users.
[56:74] You shall glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.
