Kelly,
Your dad will always be concerned about you actions. If he is devoted to you, he will always care about your health and safety. It is not only ingrained in his body it is in his soul.
Be patient with your dad.
Stay away from places that would compromise his trust in you.
If he loves you, you will regain his trust over time, but it will take you earning his trust.

Having sex? You can write the word out, you know.
You need to talk to your father & let him know what is going on in your life. You also need to get your father to talk to your boyfriend & get the two of them to become friends. Honestly, I can say that if I came home to find a boy in my daughter's bed (clothed or not), I'd probably act the same way. It's pretty disrespectful for you to have a boy sleeping in your bed without letting your parents know. It's their house, after all. For all he knew, you two had already worked your way through the kama sutra & put your clothes back on already.
Again, your father probably doesn't know this kid that well. How can he trust someone that he doesn't even know that well? Learn from this experience. Maybe he is being overprotective, but he's doing what he thinks is best for you because he loves you. This is why you need to keep good communication with your father, so he can know what you would do & what you wouldn't.

Is your dad Al Bundy???
You need to wait for him to cool off and sit down and talk with him.
You should know better than to put yourself in that position.
Your father's trust you can loose in just a few seconds, and it will take much much longer to get it back.

Yeah I would have too. When it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck its usually a duck. You guys screwed up, and you had no business doing that. You both owe apologies to your dad. If your b/f has any respect for you, he will apologize face to face.
