Doesn't sound good ....." he tries to guide me, he tries to educate me, he tries to discipline me..." Please be very wary of anyone you meet on the Internet ! Remember they could be something completely different then what they portray themselves to be to you.

Yeah. Ever think about why a grown man would do this behind the secrecy of the internet? And why a grown man would do this with a person he does not know and is not related to? Have you told your parents about this internet friend? Why not? Have you talked to him over the phone or in real life? Why not?

You are being seduced by a predator, you are in trouble and are about to get into more trouble when he takes it to the next level. A person who was being honest with you would be encouraging a stronger relationship with your own father, not taking on the role himself.

You need the help of your father. After all he's going to be the one picking up the pieces of your life when your online predator ruins it.

Take a step back and check out what your real dad has done for you your whole life and compare it to what this guy has done for you.
This guy is somebody on your Internet screen, but could be someone drastically different in real life.
Watch the news, check out stories like this.
Guys do what they have to do to gain the trust of kids like you so that they can convince them to meet, and then they are either molested or disappear.
This guy picked up on some problem you have with your dad and is now using that. He is telling you what you want to hear to sway you into trusting him.
Be VERY careful, and keep your wits about you, don't get sucked into a situation you can't control.

Sounds like a child molestor that's trying to leak you into the world of "bad". Stay away from this guy; trust me. You shouldn't wish for this guy to be your dad. He could be some 49 year old fart that lives in his mothers basement and looks at nasty images on the computer and talks to kids like you. Stay away from him, he's probably a registered sex offender.

So, what precisely is your question?

Do be careful because he could be a paedophile trying to "groom" you.
On the other hand he might just be a kindly person who is happy to help people - like me!
