ok so whenever i try to dowload somthing.
it says" this is not a movie file"
i want to dowload the viewpoint toolbar.
But how can i!?

As a general rule:
All OS X executable programs have a ".dmg" file extension.
All Windows executable programs have a ".exe" file extension.
Exceptions: ".zip, .pdf, jpg, etc." file extensions are universal, for example, and are platform independent.
The viewpoint toolbar is Windows only, for use with IE 6 or IE 7, as clearly stated on their website. So, as a new MAC user, always look for the MAC version of any download FIRST.

This might not be an exact answer to your question, but, I think Viewpoint is only for Windows.
You would get the "this is not a movie file" message if Quicktime was trying to open this file for some reason.
