LOL. This should be interesting...

I'm a Mormon. How I think the BOM proves the Bible is God's words, is because the BOM is such a powerfully unadulterated message of the power of faith and obedience. It's simplicity elucidates some confusing passages in the Bible, and clarifies some truths that were taken away from the Bible.

EDIT: In line with what Kerry said, the BOM is another witness of the reality of God, and of the particular truths that it contains in common with the Bible. I have found the same increase in evidence for God (and resulting firmness of my beliefs) by studying all the religions of earth. Many of them were revealed independent from each other, yet contain many of the same (or similar/compatible) prophecies, morals, concepts, etc. In doing research into other religions, I have found ample evidence which supports the divine origins of the Book of Mormon, and of other LDS prophecy and scripture.

Nice copy and pasted answer for the person a couple up from me!! Nice to know someone can put in their own words what they read.

I'm LDS, and to me, the Book of Mormon helps me to understand the bible better. It simplifies things, and adds greater meaning to what has been written.

I know there will always be people who don't believe in it, and the more people that don't, and that try to fight against it, then more it shows me that it is from God. The more opposition it gets, the more it means (at least to me) that Satan is trying his hardest to work against it. If he wasn't trying so hard, there would be no truth and no point of the whole religion.

I have had personal experiences with the Book of Mormon that prove to me that it is true. It doesn't really matter what others think. What really matters is what I believe in my heart to be true.

Beachlad. I think you need to do some research on your part. That book was written by John while he was exiled on the Island of Patmos. After which he went on to write other books. He didn't write revelations and than take all of the other books to the publisher to have it printed. The bible is nothing but a collection of different "books" written by prophets. Over time they were eventually collected together and called the bible.

Well certainly having two books from two different parts of the world at the same time, testifying of the same thing sure seems like strong evidence to me.
Some might not believe the Book of Mormon to be an ancient record, in which case the argument is mute, but to anyone who believes in the Book of Mormon it is certainly strong evidence.

Well, I would at least have someone copy and paste their info ( I like to also) RATHER than spout off what they have been brainwashed to say from the AGE OF 2!! I KNOW this, and I KNOW that! blah blah.... Please... Very sad!
The bible itself states that it is the only book of God and thats it!

Revelation 22:18-9 which states:

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book."

Let me explain it this way: In a court of law, witnesses help corroborate and substantiate a claim or testimony about something. The Book of Mormon acts as as a "second" witness to the divinity of Christ and his teachings. The Book of Mormon supports the Bible and corroborates its claims.

So, it a real way, the Book of Mormon supports what the Bible is saying.

The book of mormons is not related to the Holy Bible of the true christians because the Bible is for God while the book of mormons is for the devil.
