I suppose it depends how far back you go as iam sure every country has a war over the centuries with another country or each other.
I even watch a African tribe Docu the other day and they used spears still and where hundreds of years behind us but they had been at war with the next village for years and years.and still attack each other to the point where guards still patrol at night.
One thing i love about this site is you get thumbs down for no reason, usually when folks add any answer and want there's to look better.

Ok, looking at some of the answers some people are very stupid
Antarctica isn't a country, it's a continent
Hawaii, really, come on, no ones that dumb,
In WW1, and WW2 all of the British commonwealth countries participated including australia.
Sweden, Norway, and Finland have all been to war.
switzerland did fight in a war a looong time ago.
Technically Greenland isn't a country, It's a dependancy of Denmark
and heres a list off the top of my head of wars Canada has participated in: american revoluton, war of 1812, Boer war, WW1, WW2, Koren War, and both gulf wars. Not to mention atleast a dozen peace keeping missons including the Sues Cannal" The Rwanda and Chad Genocides,
and there are dozens of countries too small to have armies eg. Monaco, Vatican City, Hati.

I think its been over 50 years since Switzerland has done anything defensive or offensive... The Japanese surrendered to the Americans through the neutral country of Switzerland.

I may be wrong about this but Costa Rica probably has never been involved in a war because they do not have a military. Does the war on drugs count ?

Cannot think of a single one ! If you give a specific time range, I am sure you could work out who was not involved in any war, but as a whole, I think war has been our most common pastime

Guys, the Vatican City is basically the "home" of the Catholic Church and probably inherits the legacy--militarily--of the Papal states and their history of warfare...
...so, Vatican City as peace mongers...
