I have that same problem and the docs have never been able to figure it out. I know that I'm reactive to tannins in chocolate and red wine and that's one of my problems. I also have a problem with dehydration and get sick after working out a lot of times, even though I'm drinking tons of water. I've started taking Chaser Plus when I have a drink (don't worry, it's not often), and I haven't gotten sick since I've started. It's great because it's really embarrassing being a professional and not even being able to have a glass of wine or a margarita with my co-workers!

If you are set on shots then make sure you eat a good meal before you go drinking. It also doesn't hurt to have a glass of water in between every one or two drinks. Or just drink beer.

She has no tolerance for alcohol. She shouldn't drink. Sometimes eating a fatty meal before drinking can help but I've known people with no tolerance for alcohol and nothing seems to help them.

She may be alergic. It is possible to be alergic to alcahol. Also it could be due to stomac problems. I used to be able to drink, but my limit is 4 and anymore I will get sick all night. I have stomac problems though and have layed off the drinking.

If she gets sick all the time, maybe she should just stop. Better safer than sorry.
