From what I understand you don't go to hell but you also do not get to be with God or your family and friends...suicide is the worst thing anyone can do; the highest on the scale of sins. As far as going to hell, there is no such place, because hell is here on earth. THIS is hell and THIS is what we must go through to prove ourselves ready to move on to the next level. Eventually everyone will get there but of course, some people will take longer and will have to repeat and repeat their time here on earth until they get it right. All the horrible things that happen to some poeple are evidence that this life is hell, portions of it, and we must overcome these negative experiences and learn from them so we never have to repeat them or this time on earth but move on to the next level which is Heaven.
Suicide is the ultimate sin and the ultimate horror anyone can do to their families...it is not a do over and once you kill yourself and die, you are truly doomed in the hereafter. You are consigned to Limbo which is between the worlds.

Yes, because as a Christian, you will need to get forgiveness for your sins which is why when you commit a sin, you should ask for forgiveness immediately, which is why Christ is so accessible.
Ok, thus when you commit suicide, you can't get forgiveness for murdering yourself and destroying your temple. Ex 20:13 & 1 Cor 3:16. You will die commiting a sin and have no way to repent. (Make sense?)
Before Christ, you had very difficult rituals to perform in order to get forgiveness of sins, but now you just need to ask Christ. If you are sincere, and only you and him know this, then you can be forgiven.
Not sure why you are asking this question, but if you are feeling like you want to take your life, talk with someone in your family, or a friend and definitely read your Bible. God can provide comfort that others can't.

It's true that some people in some religions believe that you will go to hell for suicide. Whether you do or not is unknowable, as is the existence of hell or God itself.
Instead of worrying about this, think about the great benefits and joys that may come out of a good life that you have the power to create for yourself, instead of the intense sadness, tragedy and complete elimination of possibilities that come from the taking of a life.

Most Christians hold that suicide is OBJECTIVELY a sin "unto death of the soul."
Thus you would go to hell.
HOWEVER,subjectively we can not know the state of the mind of the one committing suicide nor any extenuating circumstances which would lessen the gravity of the "sin.".
It seems to me that most people who commit suicide are in so much pain they are not fully culpable.
I have PERSONAL experience. My best advice is, as much as possible start thinking about someone else besides yourself. I know this is difficult if the pain is nearly unbearable, but it is the only way.

No - our God is a loving and forgiving one. If someone kills themself, their eternity will be spent on the place determined most fitting for them. If they were a non-repentant murderer that blatantly denied God and rejected Him, then I would say chances of getting into Heaven are very slim. However, if the person lived according to their beliefs, even if they had never had the Truth spoken to them, and then killed themself, I would think the outcome would be a bit different.
God only knows what will happen, and it's up to us to decide for ourselves right now in this life.
Hope this helps! ;-)

This question is debatable in the religious community. For me, I feel that you would not be allowed enter heaven. In order to enter, you must be saved and free from sin. As a human being, according to the Bible, we are sinners and must repeat of our sins daily (know and unknown). If the individual is saved and free of sin and commits suicide, their last act was an act of sin. It is a sin to murder. Suicide is murdering oneself. The Bible does not whom one should not murder it just states that "thou shall not murder." Since the individuals last act was a sin and you cannot enter into heaven with sin, the person would go to hell.

You will not go to hell. Hell is a state of mind create by the person. Your life is entirely up to you to continue or discontinue. I would suggest, however, that a permanant decision like that should be made over a period of time, with deep thought, and not at a time when you are emotional.

It is sinful to commit a suicide because ultimately it is God's mercy that one gets a human body through the parents. Thus in one sense, the material body is the property of God, not your and to destroy the property of somebody else is a sin.
By committing a suicide on deprives himself of the gross material body, in which one have to live certain amount of years. Only the subtle body will remain. For example you would have to live 60 years and you commit suicide at 30, than for 30 years you would live in this world as a ghost. You heard about them? They are the invisible living entities who possess only the subtle body of mind intelligence and ego, but not the gross material body. Their existence is described as great suffering and they always cause troubles to others. After the 60 year is completed there is a great chance to go to hell due to a sinful activities. Of course, suffering in hell is not eternal although due to great suffering it is experienced as unending. After the punishment for sins is over, one gets again opportunity for higher existence in this earth planet. That's again just the mercy of God. He is not cruel to cast the souls into eternal suffering.
But don't forget, now in this human body there is an opportunity to understand God and to develop love for him.
